Nu Wu Cannabis Marketplace in Las Vegas opened the first drive-thru store less than a month after Paiute Tribe opened its doors. The owners say the option is convenient for people with disabilities and those in a hurry.
“Customers can buy pot, edibles, oil and cannabis seeds without leaving the seat of their car.”
“This service is primarily aimed at patients with reduced mobility or handicapped people who cannot enter the store, workers, retired people who do not want to enter the shops,”said Benny Tso, president of the Benny Tso tribe. “the goal is to have the opportunity to discover our online selection menu ”
The Nu Wu store is in a converted bank, and the drive-thru window was already in place. Each person in the vehicle must have their identity documents checked and the customer must pay in cash. Currently, the boutique offers a limited selection at the window and is preparing to provide service orders in 60 to 90 seconds per customer, according to Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
The store currently employs 105 people, about 10% of whom are employees of Paiute Tribe or relatives. According to the report, the profits go mainly to Paiute Tribe.
